During maths this week the children will be learning about coins and notes in problem solvings. The children in1K are really good at adding numbers such as 10s and 5s, but for some reason once we start talking about money they get confused. This is an activity you can try at home (I never have this much money). What combinations of notes and gold coins could you use to pay for something that cost $15.
